Description for Drano LakeDrano Lake is a few miles below Bonneville Dam and is a popular location for anglers looking for spring Chinook. The lake is a small inlet off of the Columbia River and is separated from the Columbia by Highway 14. The lake is somewhat sheltered from the currents of the main river and therefore can be accessed with smaller vessels. However the wind can always become an issue in the area. Trolling is the primary technique used on the lake. The fishing is at its peak around April but watch the fish counts over Bonneville to plan your trip.
